Abortion the Respect Life Convention
Since 1976, the RLA has hosted an annual convention in October during Respect Life month, providing a forum for St. Louis Catholics and other pro-life advocates to come together for prayer, fellowship, and formation on the Gospel of Life.

January 22, 2021 marks the 48th anniversary of the Supreme Court decisions that legalized abortion in the U.S. Since establishing the first U.S. diocesan pro-life office in 1973, the Archdiocese of St. Louis has consistently commemorated this tragic occasion with activities that focus on what hopeful, faith-filled people of God do to accompany those facing unplanned pregnancies.
