St. Monica PSR Philosophy and Mission Statement
St. Monica Parish School of Religion (PSR) is a Catholic community empowered by the Holy Spirit, the Sacraments, and Prayer. We are called to grow in Catholic faith and love, to proclaim the Gospel values, and to minister to the St. Monica Parish family. We continue our apostolic mission to spread the Good News and to follow our baptismal call to be the Body of Christ.
Our vision is faith filled. Faith is a gift from God which grows and develops throughout our life journey. As a people of faith we look at our actions, both in our Parish Community and in the world, in a different way than people who are not. We assist our children and their parents to understand our Catholic Faith and nurture them in their faith. St. Monica PSR is dedicated to providing resources and opportunities for families to learn, celebrate, and grow in our Catholic Faith.
This updated PSR program will bring together students and families from St. John Bosco Church, St. Richard Church and St. Monica Parish Church. Classes will be held each Sunday at St. Monica Parish Church, beginning with 9:30 a.m. Mass, followed by classes until Noon.
